Last November 29, 2017, the Kindergarten Team headed by Ms. Charisma Dela Cruz, hosted the first-ever Family Play Day event of Reedley Kindergarten School. Our kindergarteners, together with their parents, uncles, aunts, and yayas, attended the event at the Reedley Gymnasium to have fun and build happy memories together.
Family Play Day gave parents, children, and other family members a chance to celebrate the meaning of being a family and to spend quality time with their loved ones by participating in fun activities together. Through this event, they learned the importance of unity and teamwork and strengthened cooperation, trust, and relationship within and among families.
Families were grouped into four teams and named: Blazing Blue, Dynamic Green, Roaring Red, and Fantastic Yellow.
Some of the games they played were Straw Relay, Balloon Caterpillar Run, Chair Game, Run Mat, Hula-Hoop Pass, and Family Fun Race.
Finally, after all the games and activities, the Roaring Red Team was hailed the first-ever and the overall Champion for this year’s Family Play Day event!
Indeed, this event is a fun learning experience for both children and adults. The families who attended the Family Play Day surely had lots of fun, laughed a lot, and saw that with family, they are capable of doing many things if they do it together.
