Last October 10, 2015, the Reedley Chess Team composed of students from the Junior High and Middle School competed against 4 other International Schools in the MISAA Chess Tournament. Through hard work and practice during their club time, the Junior High School 15-and-Up Team A, composed of Kenneth Chang (10 Princeton), Abraham Yu (10 Harvard), and Kara Say (10 Princeton), bagged the Gold Trophy. They also won the Silver Trophy with a different team in the same division with our Team B, composed of Raphael Dela Cruz (Homestudy), Timothy Ecarma (9 Northwestern), and Lee Jun Ho (9 Fordham). Another Silver Trophy in the 12-14 Division was won by our team composed of Kim Donghwan (7 Stanford), Lee Min Hyuk (7 Georgetown), and Kim Youngmin (7 Georgetown).
